Having taught over 5,000 students from across the world, I have an abundance of experience delivering high-quality teaching lessons to individuals and groups. My lessons are designed to be stimulating , effective , efficient and enjoyable at the same time .I speak and teach standard British English. I think I can define myself as a kind but demanding teacher , knowledgeable and empathic, as I know exactly what learning a new language means. It is a process that requires time, dedication , enthusiasm and perseverance!!

I am a full Cambridge DELTA( Diploma in Teaching English to Adults of other Languages ) qualified teacher and teacher trainer, I have a BA in the English Language and Literature with a QTS – Qualified Teacher Status In England and Wales , a Cambridge CELTA certificate( Certificate in Teaching English to Students of other languages), an MA in Teaching Italian as a Foreign /Second Language and a Certificate in Teaching English online .

Teaching English is not only a job , but a life time passion and dream. I have dedicated more than 20 years to teaching English in different countries to students of all ages , levels and from different countries and backgrounds.

About 18 years ago life brought me to Italy and I started teaching English in different private schools and companies– British Institutes of Ancona , The English Training Center Jesi , IIK, Ancona , Speexx, Pavia .I have taught General English to all ages and at all levels, I collaborated with Training Centres like FormArt and Cescot Ancona , I have taught Business English in companies like Trevalli, Fincantieri , API, Engineering ,I Guzzini .I am also specialised in teaching exam classes , I prepare students for the Cambridge Exams : KET , PET , FCE , CAE and also IELTS , I have taught exams classes to students of private language schools but also in state middle and secondary schools in the area, mainly in Jesi , Ancona , Osimo , Falconara and also Santa Maria Nuova , my lovely adoptive little town !!

I generally teach in the Marche , in and around Ancona and Jesi from October until May , while from June until August I go back to the UK where I used to be a teacher in British schools for International students – Education First (EF) , Cambridge UK , EC YL Frensham and London , Angle Education, London .

Over the past five years I have come back to England as an Academic Manager / Director of Studies in the summer after accomplishing the dream of becoming a Delta qualified EFL teacher and teacher trainer . These are unique experiences for me , I find it very motivating to work with people from all over the world , to coordinate teams of teachers , share my knowledge and skills and also help thousands of students to have a lovely stay in the UK and improve their English in a short period of time .

I started teaching online about two years ago and in March I did a Cambridge course for Teaching English Online .I have been teaching mainly online ever since , as I find it an effective and comfortable way of learning as long as one has reliable internet connection !!The COVID pandemic and the wide spread of smart -working and remote teaching have definitely changed our approach to training and teaching even in the future .

In my free time I still read articles about Linguistics or Teaching English to students of other languages, I go for long walks with my beloved dog and I practise aerobics , fitness and Zumba !!
